Here you go. I finally decided to take my music more seriously. I will be posting new music up there every week for as long as i can manage it. Most of it will be improvisational guitar or piano, some will be actual finished pieces I've recorded. Should be fun! :)

No More Hedwig - Other Projects On the Way

Mon Sep 28, 2009, 7:13 PM
So, we wrapped up our insanely successful run of Hedwig on Sunday! EVERYONE in the cast and crew did a wonderful job bringing the show to life. We had crazy, rock star standing ovations for every show to prove it. I can finally check that "be a rock star" box off of my bucket list as a result. :)

Next up, i will be making my return to live theatrical directing this weekend with the 24 Hour Play Festival at the Jepson Center for the Arts in Savannah, GA. Tickets will be $15 at the door at 7:00PM. I wish I could tell you what the show is about, but we won't know until that day! It's all part of the fun or producing one act plays in 24 hours.

I will also be re-starting my horror theater project: "The Crimson Chamber" this week. The venue and the theater company that produced Hedwig has expressed an interest in hosting the show, so we can finally move forward with the script! So far, the basic plot outline is complete. I will keep everyone posted as the project progresses.

I am also talking to a very talented Director of Photography to shoot a script written by my favorite writing team of Ryan Brown, myself and VC Brannen. If this takes off, it will be in FULL 1080p HD. it will be my bread and butter genre of neo-noir. Hopefully I will have more details by the end of October for this one.

Finally, I am starting a small swing combo with some friends from SCAD. We had our first mini-rehearsal today and for just three instruments, it sounds pretty darned sweet. I don't know when we will be ready to play, but hopefully it will be soon.

HEDWIG SHOW DATES

Fri Sep 11, 2009, 9:06 AM
Hello everyone! (Yes, all three of you)

So, the final dates and ticket information are as follows:
Sept 17-20; 24-26 - 8:00PM (21+ ONLY! The bar will be open during the show.)
Sept 27 - 3:00PM (18+ Matinee! There will be no alcohol served during this show.)
Standard Tickets are $15 - Table Seats are $20

The show will be playing at CLUB ONE at the following address:
1 Jefferson Street
Savannah, GA - 31401

During the performances the show floor will be a NON-SMOKING environment. Please respect the wishes of the cast and venue owners and leave your cigarettes in your handbags/pockets until AFTER the show or downstairs.

I will be playing guitar for the show. All of the musicians are awesome and talented and the cast is being helmed by the fantastic Chris Blair. If you've seen Rocky Horror 2008, you have seen him perform. He's awesome.

Come on down to Club One and enjoy some drinks, rock and roll, and just a tad bit of drag. (With ACTUAL SINGING.) I hope to see you there!

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH

Wed Sep 2, 2009, 1:56 PM
So, I started this production as Luther but due to a lack of guitarists, I will be in the band. So far I'm taking to the music much better than I had thought. The trick is going to be getting all of our very busy band members in for enough rehearsals o make this show kick some teeth like it's supposed to.

I will keep everyone posted with dates soon. What is certain is that we will be playing at Club One in Savannah, GA upstairs in the cabaret theater. There will be ONE and ONLY ONE show for under 21 folks.

-----------------

In other news, the Crossroad: Remastered Editition will be posted sometime next week AFTER I hand the DVDs to cast, crew and locations.
